Job Summary
SVP, Data & Intelligence, a hands-on analytics leadership role, will shape client strategy and guide analytics, measurement, and AI-enabled insights within a leading communications agency. You will serve as a senior advisor to clients, oversee integrated measurement and intelligence programs, translate complex data into clear recommendations, drive business growth and new engagements, mentor cross-functional teams, and partner with corporate, consumer, healthcare, technology, digital, paid media and creative groups to deliver integrated analytics and performance insights that tie communications efforts to business outcomes. The role emphasizes leveraging AI, automation, APIs and emerging technologies to improve research, reporting and decision-making, while maintaining rigorous data quality and delivering meaningful impact for clients. About You requirements include 15+ years in analytics/related fields, deep expertise in communications analytics, experience advising senior clients, business development experience, proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, GA4, SQL, R, Hex), strong storytelling and communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in analytics, intelligence, research, measurement, communications, marketing or related fields within an agency, consulting or client-service environment
- Deep expertise in communications analytics and their platforms including measurement, earned media analysis, social intelligence, audience research, reputation analytics, digital performance and business intelligence
- Experience advising senior clients and guiding data-informed decision making
- Experience leading business development across organic and net new opportunities including strategic planning, proposal development, consultative selling and new business pitches
- Strong understanding of integrated communications and the role analytics across earned, owned and paid channels
- Experience with BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Hex, GA4, SQL, R or similar
- Strong presentation, storytelling and communication skills; ability to make complex findings accessible
- Experience leveraging AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve research, reporting and insight generation
- Collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring talent and partnering across disciplines, functions and levels
- Commitment to analytical rigor, data quality and delivering meaningful business impact through insights
- Experience supporting or leading analytics strategy and client leadership across multiple practice areas
- Experience working with clients to translate data into actionable insights that influence communications strategy
