Senior Vice President, Chief Physician Executive

Senior leadership role for St. Charles Health System as the Senior Vice President, Chief Physician Executive (CPE). Leads the greater physician and advanced practice enterprise, driving clinical excellence, provider engagement, quality, safety, and system-wide care delivery performance. Provides strategic and operational leadership across employed and affiliated medical staff, aligning clinical practice and service lines with care models, clinical operations, and the organization’s vision and priorities. Partners with executive leaders to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, fosters accountability and collaboration, and oversees governance with nursing, pharmacy, and other disciplines to ensure safe, effective, compliant, and financially sustainable care across the system. Ideal candidate will bring MD/DO with board certification, extensive clinical and senior leadership experience in hospital or integrated healthcare settings, and a track record in strategic planning, quality improvement, and staff engagement through a systems-oriented leadership approach.
