Job Summary
Senior Vice President, Auto focused on building strong client relationships while proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You’ll be building tailored insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes and will lead activities to recognize and actively pursue new business opportunities, conduct market research on prospects, network, follow up on leads, generate new business revenue by selling insurance coverage to clients, manage pipeline through CORE, maintain existing book of business, provide high-standard client service, and stay up-to-date on current coverage. The role requires 5+ years of commercial insurance experience and a General Insurance License with preferred certifications (CAIB/CIP/CRM/BCIT Risk Management). The position is based at HUB International’s Burnaby head office in British Columbia, Canada, with a compensation structure that reflects variable draw plus commission and opportunities for career development and training.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
- Level 2 General Insurance License
- Recognized industry certification preferred (CAIB, CIP, CRM, BCIT Risk Management, etc.)
