Job Summary
Architect and maintain a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment, serving as the subject matter expert for troubleshooting performance issues across the organization. Provide Tier 3/4 support to system administrators, conduct trade studies for solution recommendations, and act as a liaison between VDI technologies to optimize desktops for platform interoperability. Deliver endpoint support for virtual desktop infrastructure-related tasks while managing identity life-cycle, process automation, and system design integration. Operate across multiple complex production environments with diverse stakeholders, ensuring safe and smart solutions for intelligence customers in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- TS/SCI Clearance
- ability to obtain CI Polygraph
- Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products
- 5+ years of experience
- BS degree
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later
- Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)
- Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
- Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX
- Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
- Citrix App Layering
- Liquidware Profile Unity
- Hyper V
- VMware VDI
- Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs
- Familiar with HP AnyConnect and Leostream
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering
- Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- System Center Virtual Machine Manager/Vmware Vcenter 6.7
- Active Directory/ Group Policies
- Home Directory and Profile management Support Services
- Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services
