Job Summary
Provide models and documents to complete scope determined by VDC leadership and project teams. Assemble 3D content modeled by others and model any content not provided. Create and maintain clear project documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes, and constraint logs. Support operations with the RFI process for BIM-related items and maintain relationships with subcontractors. Independently conduct VDC processes, analyze construction documents and models for errors, and incorporate design updates. Communicate project constraints to supervisors and teams to minimize impacts. Provide training to project teams on BIM tool utilization and lead teams through VDC processes. This senior role supports internal project teams and aligns owner requirements with BIM execution plans. The position requires proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Trimble Tekla Structures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a construction-related field of study
- 2+ years construction or related experience
- 2+ years BIM-related experience

- Laser scanning process

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy
- Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources
- Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems
- Ability to lead project teams through the VDC processes
- Ability to set up and establish project specific VDC technology to support project delivery strategy – Intermediate
- Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of BIM technologies and apply to overall VDC processes and application in the AEC industry
- Apply JE Dunn VDC/BIM processes and standards
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
- Communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to conduct effective presentations

- Gains exposure to the process of aligning owner requirements, BIM execution plans, front end scopes of work, and makes sure minimum project requirements are met
