Job Summary
Conduct the full spectrum of advanced non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations with exceptional technical expertise while serving as the clinical and technical leader within Boston Medical Center's IAC Accredited Vascular Laboratory. Supervise, mentor, and support vascular sonographers to promote professional development and clinical excellence. Provide oversight of technical image quality, quality assurance, and laboratory performance improvement initiatives. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of vascular surgeons, cardiologists, neurologists, fellows, residents, and vascular technologists. Assist with IAC reaccreditation, sonography student education, physician resident training, and departmental quality programs. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Vascular Technology, Ultrasound, or Allied Health Science with Accredited Vascular Ultrasound Certificate
- ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification
- Registry within 24 Months
- Minimum Four to Five Years of Vascular Ultrasound Experience
- Proficiency Performing the Full Spectrum of Non-Invasive Vascular Examinations
- Experience with All Vascular Laboratory Equipment
- Strong Computer, Documentation, and Communication Skills
