Senior Valuation Analyst

Job Summary
Generate expected and actual cashflows for quarterly closing and develop valuation projection models. Produce quarterly GAAP and local statutory financial/solvency reports, including movement analysis on liabilities, inforce values, and SOE analysis. Handle data for actuarial experience studies covering mortality, morbidity, and lapse rates. Generate valuation basis change memos and perform experience variance analysis. Support economic capital refinement, capital planning, and cash flow testing. Requires 5 to 15 years of actuarial experience in life and/or non-life insurance, with a preference for Korean-qualified actuaries and proficiency in Prophet, Excel, and SQL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 to 15 years of actuarial experience (valuation, experience studies, IFRS17 and K-ICS, etc.) in life and/or non-life insurance companies
- Korea Qualified Actuary
Desired Qualifications
- at least 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Actuarial software experience (Prophet is preferred)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English
- Proficient Excel and software skills including database applications are preferred (Python, Oracle, SQL, Macro)
