Job Summary
Lead end-to-end UX design from research through implementation, conducting user studies to synthesize insights and drive decisions. Develop personas, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs while collaborating with product managers and developers to ensure feasibility. Establish and maintain a scalable design system, defining token architectures and building reusable component libraries for web and mobile. Mentor junior designers, advocate for user-centered principles, and present strategies to stakeholders. Validate solutions through usability and A/B testing to make data-driven improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in UX design
- strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating user-centered designs for web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
- Deep understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience leading UX projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex user needs into simple, elegant design solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and data-driven design
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on time
- Proven experience building or significantly contributing to a design system, with hands-on work defining token structures (primitive and semantic tokens) and authoring component documentation
- Strong visual design sensibility with a portfolio that demonstrates mastery of composition, typographic hierarchy, color systems, and a modern aesthetic
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS)
- Familiarity with design token tooling and workflows (e.g. Tokens Studio, Style Dictionary, or equivalent) and experience collaborating with engineers on token implementation in a codebase
