Senior UX Designer

Job Summary
Senior UX Designer for Street Smart geospatial web application. Own UX outcomes across major product areas, from discovery through delivery, embedded in a cross-functional team. Emphasizes AI integration as part of design practice. Design and improve map-to-imagery navigation, high-frequency review workflows, and measurement/annotation experiences within imagery context. Translate complex spatial workflows into intuitive, fast, and trustworthy experiences; identify and reduce UX debt; plan and conduct user research; partner with Product and Engineering for discovery and validation; use qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize UX impact; deliver high-quality flows, prototypes, and UI designs; design AI-assisted experiences that are transparent and controllable.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience designing complex web applications for professional users (enterprise/B2B or data-heavy tools)
- Strong skills in interaction design and information architecture
- Independent planning, running, and applying user research
- Portfolio showing real-world impact from problem framing through shipped outcomes
- Experience with mapping interfaces, spatial data, imagery viewers, measurement tools, data visualization, or GIS-adjacent workflows
- Daily use of AI in design work and willingness to expand AI-driven practices
- Hybrid work preference with 2–3 days at the office in Zaltbommel
