Job Summary
Senior Utility Field Technician to install, remove, inspect, and exchange various types of electric utility meters and modules; identify and report hazardous conditions; adhere to performance standards safely; respond to customer needs with professionalism; follow standard work procedures; comply with safety procedures; overtime and weekend hours may be required; requires Class 2 NEC Certification or equivalent with High School Diploma; valid driver’s license; pre-employment drug screen/Background/MVR; 40-hour week with possible overtime; benefits include 401(k), health/dental/vision, life, PTO, and on-the-job training; location in Lanham, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Class 2 NEC Certification or equivalent experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen, Background, and MVR check
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have previous Utility experience
- Experience: Maps, GPS Systems 1 year (Preferred); Computer Technology 1 year (Preferred); Utility Industry 5-7 years (REQUIRED)
