Senior Utilities Consultant

Job Summary
Senior Utilities Consultant responsible for providing overall operational and technical leadership for electric and gas consulting programs with a focus on Esri Geospatial solutions. Represent the company to prospects and customers, deliver presentations and workshops to identify and capture business and technical requirements, manage project deliverables including use-case development and implementation roadmaps, coordinate consulting projects from initiation through delivery, and serve as a liaison between SSP and clients. Translate high-level requirements into detailed functional specifications, identify system interfaces and nonfunctional requirements, and work individually or in teams to meet customer needs. Mentor senior and junior staff, support business development and proposals, build client relationships through site visits and thought leadership activities, and contribute to sales generation and thought leadership through blogs, conferences, and speaking engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent, or equivalent utility and consulting work experience
- Knowledge of electric, gas and/or water utilities; Gas Distribution experience is a plus
- 10 years of work experience in support of related utility consulting or large scale process/technology projects
- Reasonable understanding and familiarity with Esri GIS technology
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications and customer relations skills
- Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity
- Willing to travel of 25-35% of the time
- Strong PC skills including MS Office and Microsoft Project
