Job Summary
Senior UX Researcher (Hybrid) responsible for designing and executing primary research to inform product decisions for customer and employee audiences across financial products. Lead mixed-methods studies (surveys, ethnography, interviews, concept testing, usability testing, heuristic evaluations) and translate insights into actionable recommendations for product teams (designers, product managers, engineers). Deliver compelling written, visual, and in-person presentations to influence strategy, mentor others, and collaborate with Market Research and analytics. Role requires onsite presence four days per week at listed regional offices and residence within commuting distance to one of the specified locations; work involves aligning with risk/regulatory standards and driving inclusive, accessible experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ related experience
- Background in the UX research field with experience designing and conducting studies and applying design-thinking methodologies
- Experience with a range of UX research methods (surveys, ethnography, in-depth interviews, concept testing, stakeholder interviews, workshop facilitation, usability testing, heuristic evaluations)
- Ability to communicate research results effectively and influence product strategy
- Experience with accessibility standards, cross-platform issues, and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, UserTesting, Miro, Jira)
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product management, design, engineering, and marketing
- Education and experience preferred: master’s degree in related field; experience with statistics and experimental design; experience in financial industry
