Job Summary
Senior UX Designer to lead the design of Hudl products that help high school coaches, athletes, and teams train smarter and compete harder. You will shape and translate user research into actionable insights, craft compelling visual and verbal concepts, clarify ambiguous problems, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, Scrum, and Quality to deliver intuitive experiences. You’ll advocate for accessibility, design excellence, and tactility, shepherding projects from concept to release. Requirements include a robust UX portfolio demonstrating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs, strong prototyping skills, experience with Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with the Hudl design system (Uniform) and remote collaboration tools. You’ll work with a team that values strong communication, iterative problem solving, and a growth mindset, with flexible work options including remote opportunities and offices in Lincoln and Omaha. This role emphasizes leadership in product design strategy and cross-disciplinary collaboration to empower teams across sports technology and education-focused platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Senior UX Designer experience
- portfolio with UX design, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final design solutions
- prototyping and wireframing skills (low/high fidelity)
- strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
- experience with design systems (e.g., Uniform)
- familiarity with component-based design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and collaboration tools (Miro)
- ability to translate user research into product decisions
- ability to ship design solutions and measure impact
