Job Summary
Senior Unix/Linux Administrator responsible for managing Oracle/Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux across DLA Enterprise Infrastructure environments (Test/Development, Staging, COOP, Production) in a government/military context. Role emphasizes UNIX/Linux day-to-day operations, IA controls, CERT coordination, DR/COOP support, and remote systems management with periodic on-site support near Wright-Patterson AFB. Requires strong customer service, effective communication with government customers, and proven experience with RMF/IA standards, HBSS/ArcSight/SafeLAN tools, and DoD-level certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Seven (7) years UNIX Administration experience, two of which in specialized information processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions.
- Three (3) years concentrated hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving software issues.
- Secret Level Security Clearance
- DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+ ce, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or GSEC)
- Computing Environment Certification, one or more of the following: SCSA (Solaris), RHCSA (Red Hat), Linux+ (Generic linux)
