Job Summary
Senior Universal Banker responsible for building member relationships through needs-based conversations, processing transactions (deposits, payments, withdrawals, and account servicing), resolving member concerns with outstanding service, promoting digital banking, opening/closing accounts, processing/closing consumer and home equity loans, and supporting branch operations, cash handling, balancing, and supervision. The role includes coaching and mentoring team members to uphold service, sales, and operational standards, meeting or exceeding branch sales and service goals, and ensuring compliance with Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of banking or financial institution experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
- Ability to become fully Universal Banker certified
- Strong relationship-building, member service, and sales skills
- Knowledge of banking operations, products, services, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and management
