Senior Underwriting Specialist, Contract Surety

Underwrite new and existing contract surety accounts by analyzing financial statements, assessing credit strength, and preparing recommendations for management approval. Negotiate underwriting terms, conditions, and security requirements with brokers and contractor clients while proactively identifying new business opportunities through networking. Represent Trisura at industry associations and functions, contributing to process improvements and best practices across the department. Maintain awareness of construction industry trends and market conditions to inform underwriting decisions. This role combines financial analysis with business development and account management within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. The position is based in Downtown Toronto on a hybrid schedule.
