Job Summary
Senior Underwriting Analyst responsible for driving profitability and growth of the warranty portfolio across major accounts through forecasting, pricing, and modelling. Lead regular underwriting performance reporting, contribute to financial forecasts and budgets, and set pricing structures to meet cost and margin targets. Conduct advanced data analysis (SQL, Excel, Power BI) to identify trends, inform recommendations, ensure data governance and quality, and drive process improvements through automation and analytics. Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen expected; role involves client-facing collaboration and cross-functional influence in a hybrid work model from Norwalk office.
Required Qualifications
- Numerate degree (UK 2:1 / US GPA 3.3+ or equivalent)
- Strong grasp of financial modelling, forecasting, and pricing fundamentals
- Advanced analytical skills with large datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI
- Experience with data analysis/mining tools (e.g., Jira)
- Understanding of extended warranty products (advantageous)
