Job Summary
Senior Underwriter on the Middle Market team performing quantitative and qualitative risk analysis to form an underwriting assessment; manage a book of business to achieve premium growth, retention, profitability, and service policies within letter of authority; initiate and make in-person sales and stewardship calls to agents; manage agency relationships to achieve company growth and strategic objectives; coordinate claims, safety, and premium audit services on large accounts; build the WCF brand and long-term agency and account relationships.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of workers compensation or commercial underwriting experience
- Established relationships with producer community
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel
