Job Summary
Senior Underwriter for Europe-based underwriting & claims services responsible for high-quality underwriting assessments, client referrals evaluation within SLAs, mentoring and training of team members, and collaboration on governance, training, and system enhancements. Drive client engagement and solutions across life underwriting and reinsurance, contribute to market strategy, product development, and the future of underwriting and claims initiatives with UnderwriteMe and Ocean development, while maintaining knowledge of regulatory changes and risk management practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a life underwriting and claims department at a senior level
- Experience handling underwriting for all major life insurance products
- Competent user status for MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook or similar email product
- Good working knowledge of Life insurance industry regulations
