Job Summary
Develop and execute local market strategies for Technology E&O, General Liability, Product Liability, and Cyber portfolios while taking ownership of broker relationships and strategic initiatives. Perform end-to-end underwriting including submission triage, risk analysis, pricing, coverage structuring, wording selection, negotiation, and documentation for large limits, bespoke wordings, and international programs. Lead complex risk assessments, manage aggregate exposures and rate adequacy, and drive innovation through adoption of AI-enabled underwriting tools and data analytics. Represent the Technology practice in client meetings and industry events, mentoring colleagues and collaborating with Claims, Operations, Finance, Legal, and underwriting teams to ensure consistent outcomes. Fluency in German and English required; five years of underwriting experience in Technology E&O or related segments expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of underwriting experience in Technology E&O or a related segment
- Fluency in German and English required
- University degree, professional training in insurance, or equivalent practical experience

- Strong experience in Cyber and General Liability or Product Liability (preferred)
- Experience with multinational insurance placements
- Proven ability to build and manage profitable portfolios
- Strong track record in developing business relationships with brokers and clients
