Review, evaluate, and underwrite new and renewal business by assessing risk quality, determining premium and coverage terms, and negotiating profitable terms within authority. Establish and maintain relationships with agents and brokers through site visits, renewal meetings, and responsive service to support marketing and pipeline growth. Manage a complex portfolio by analyzing performance, identifying growth opportunities, and executing targeted strategies to improve market share and diversification. Document underwriting decisions clearly to reflect sound judgment and compliance with state regulations and underwriting guidelines. Provide technical coaching to underwriters and account analysts while serving as a resource for complex underwriting questions.
