Job Summary
Assess, price, and underwrite new and renewal business within delegated authority while analyzing financial, legal, and operational information to evaluate risk profiles. Structure tailored coverage solutions that meet client and broker needs, ensuring underwriting practices comply with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with broker partners, promote products through meetings and industry events, and identify new business opportunities to expand market presence. Provide mentorship to junior underwriters and collaborate cross-functionally with claims, actuarial, product development, and marketing teams. Represent the company as a subject matter expert in specialty lines such as E&O, Cyber, and Technology.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience underwriting specialty lines
- Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in communication, business, or insurance
