Job Summary
Senior Underwriter responsible for marketing and underwriting professional liability programs and online products; manage portfolio including E&O, Medical Malpractice, Cyber/Technology; maintain and build broker relationships, particularly within technology, cyber, and professional lines; evaluate technology, cyber, and professional liability exposures and determine appropriate terms, conditions, and pricing; learn new E&O, Tech E&O, and Cyber product lines as they are developed; develop new business through networking with brokers, clients, consultants, lawyers and represent Trisura at industry functions; requires 5+ years underwriting specialty lines and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; bilingual in French and English an asset.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience underwriting specialty lines (E&O, Medical Malpractice, or Cyber/Technology preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in communication, business, or insurance preferred
- Bilingual in French and English an asset
