Job Summary
Senior Underwriter role within Nexus Specialty Inc.'s US Financial Lines team focusing on MPL, Real Estate E&O, and Insurance Agents E&O. Underwrite primary and excess MPL for new business and renewals, adhere to underwriting guidelines and authority, evaluate risk and pricing, partner with the VP MPL to manage book performance, generate new business via wholesale broker contacts, maintain and expand wholesale broker relationships in the assigned territory, and stay current on legal and regulatory changes and claims development to contribute to profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years MPL or E&O underwriting experience
