Job Summary
Maintain and develop a profitable book of US Property business underwritten from the London Market by analyzing risks and deciding to accept, reject, or modify submissions within delegated authority. Provide technical direction to management, less senior specialists, producers, and claims adjusting personnel while communicating risk appetite and value propositions to brokers. Establish new business production goals, manage the book of business, and formulate regional budgets. Develop pricing and negotiation strategies with clients, draft manuscript endorsements for legal approval, and assign work to a team of underwriters. Collaborate with distribution and territory managers to target accounts and cross-sell opportunities.
