Job Summary
Manage and grow a profitable book of inland marine and property business across the Region by building strong relationships with agency partners to drive consistent new business. Evaluate submissions, pricing, and coverage structures using sound judgment, analyze loss runs and exposure changes, and set pricing that reflects exposure and performance. Structure accounts thoughtfully using deductibles and coverage adjustments, review policy language to ensure clear intent, and partner with claims stakeholders to clarify coverage. This hybrid role requires in-office presence Monday through Wednesday with remote options Thursday and Friday. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 4+ years of inland marine and/or property underwriting experience
- Solid understanding of the insurance marketplace, including pricing and competitive positioning
- Proven ability to build and maintain broker relationships that drive new and renewal business
- Experience managing a book of business while contributing to growth
- Strong skills in pricing, risk selection, and deal structuring
- Working knowledge of industry trends, products, and the broader competitive landscape
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes
- Must be available for in-office days Monday through Wednesday
- Must be available for remote work on Thursday and Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Industry designations CPCU, ARM, or AU INS21, 22 and 23
- Exposure to loss control or risk engineering—you think beyond the submission and into the actual risk
