Job Summary
Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter for Sports and Recreation at HUB International. Responsible for risk analysis, quoting, negotiating renewals and endorsements for moderate to high complexity risks, building and maintaining broker relationships, meeting production targets, and traveling to meet brokers. Requires 10+ years of Commercial P&C underwriting or brokering, Broker License Level 2 or CIP/CAIB designation, and ability to work in a hybrid role based in BC or ON (open to other Canadian provinces). The role emphasizes collaboration with brokers, risk assessment, and end-to-end underwriting responsibilities within a supportive and growth-oriented team environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in Commercial P&C Underwriting or Brokering
- Broker License Level 2 in residing province, or CIP/CAIB designation
- Ability to develop broker relationships and manage a book of business
- Hybrid role in BC or ON with travel up to 25%
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience with risk analysis, quoting, renewal and endorsements
