Job Summary
Evaluate, qualify, and rate individual insurance applications to determine risk acceptability for assigned underwriting files. Develop and implement comprehensive approaches to address client exposures across general liability, property, and automobile lines. Monitor results to identify trends on assigned accounts and coordinate account servicing with Client Services, Risk Services, and Claims Services. Maintain high accuracy in work product while contributing to premium and profitability goals. Requires an active Indiana Property and Casualty License and a Bachelor's degree in insurance or two years of on-the-job underwriting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana Property and Casualty License
- Bachelor's degree in insurance & risk management
- 2+ years of on-the-job underwriting experience

- Ability to monitor results to identify trends and developments on assigned accounts
- Ability to coordinate account servicing through interaction with Client Services, Risk Services and Claims Services
