Job Summary
The Senior Underwriter / Account Executive Officer for Construction Loss Sensitive at Travelers will manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business. Responsibilities include underwriting and negotiating complex customer accounts, fostering relationships with internal and external partners, identifying new business opportunities, and independently developing agency sales plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree, along with six to eight years of relevant underwriting experience, specifically in construction loss sensitive.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Six to eight years of relevant underwriting experience
- Four years of underwriting, claim, operations, risk assessment, actuarial, sales, product, or finance experience
Desired Qualifications
- CPCU designation
- Deep knowledge of construction loss sensitive products
- Excellent communication skills
