Job Summary
Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging examinations for patients of all ages using proper practices and department protocols. Assist radiologists and referring physicians as needed to complete procedures while serving as a liaison between the imaging department, inpatient/outpatient units, and physician offices. Work under the supervision of the Supervisor Sonography and Manager Diagnostic Imaging to ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards. Operate during 10-hour variable shifts on a per diem basis.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification
- Associate's degree and/ or equivalent education / experience Ultrasound Technology
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 10-hour Variable Shifts
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of Sonography experience
- 1 year of Leadership experience
