Job Summary
Perform a variety of ultrasound imaging examinations using proper practices and accepted department protocols for patients of any age group. Assist radiologists and referring physicians as needed to perform procedures, while serving as a liaison to scheduling and physician offices. Work closely with radiologists, other modalities, inpatient, and outpatient ultrasound departments under the supervision of the Supervisor Sonography and Manager Diagnostic Imaging. Maintain required continuing education hours to renew license and certification, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory agency standards.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification
- Associate's degree and/ or equivalent education / experience Ultrasound Technology
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 10-hour Variable Shifts
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of Sonography experience
- 1 year of Leadership experience
