Job Summary
Own end-to-end UI/UX design for fireclaytile.com, from concept through build-ready Figma specs that ship. Manage Shopify Plus backend configuration for products, collections, metafields, checkout, apps, navigation, and discounts. Lead design for custom development projects with the internal dev team, including Salesforce/Shopify integrations and sample ordering experiences. Partner with Growth Marketing on landing pages, CRO experiments, and site performance using AI tooling like Claude to multiply output. Work directly with leadership to define market direction.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience for e-commerce
- significant Shopify depth
- Expert in Figma
- Fluent in the Shopify Plus admin
- HTML/CSS/Liquid literacy
- Experienced in the Home category
- Self-directed and comfortable owning a function solo
- strong e-commerce instincts for conversion, page speed, mobile-first, and accessibility
- robust AI workflow and toolset
- Remote within the US
- Must be able to demo current AI usage
