Job Summary
Senior UI Technical Game Designer to implement pixel-perfect interface screens, collaborate with UI artists and game designers to ensure feasible mock-ups, and work with engineers to establish data contracts for screen development. Responsibilities include implementing interfaces, supporting wireframes/mock-ups, and iterating based on playtests. Required to have professional UI work in video games, strong technical skills, knowledge of modern workflows and software, basic programming terminology, and experience on AAA console or mobile games; excellent communication and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Nice-to-have: familiarity with C++, knowledge of animation methodologies, multi-platform mobile/web experience, intermediate Figma and Photoshop skills, and broad UX/design tooling understanding.
Required Qualifications
- Professional work history developing user interfaces for video games (or related) and work within UI frameworks.
- Strong technical skills and the knowledge of the industry’s newest technology, workflows and software.
- Basic knowledge of software programming's standard methodologies and terminology.
- Experience working on AAA console games or mobile experiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain technical requirements.
- Ability to produce high quality work quickly within strict deadlines and time constraints.
- Ability to iterate and adapt to feedback from design and playtest results.
