Job Summary
Senior Trial Attorney to lead employment and workers' compensation litigation, serving as first chair on designated cases and managing all phases of litigation from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include conducting court appearances, trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations; developing comprehensive case strategies; preparing and presenting evidence; conducting direct and cross-examinations; drafting and arguing motions; negotiating settlements; providing legal advice on litigation matters; collaborating with paralegals and investigators; mentoring junior attorneys and staff; participating in client development and ensuring compliance with court deadlines. The role offers opportunities for leadership within the Civil Litigation department, with a hybrid work arrangement based in Burbank, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s)
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- 2+ years of trial experience
- Strong background in procedural rules (e.g., Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure)
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines
- Superior project management and team leadership capabilities
