Job Summary
The Senior Triage Specialist is responsible for providing clinical triage and assessment, managing patient interactions, and ensuring effective communication across multiple channels. This role includes handling appointment scheduling, emergency responses, quality assurance, and service improvement initiatives. The individual will also conduct on-the-job training for new staff, support service recovery measures, and maintain compliance with hospital policies. Candidates should possess relevant healthcare qualifications and experience, along with strong communication and organizational skills to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- NITEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma holder
- at least 3 years in healthcare and/or community setting
- passion for service excellence
- meticulous attention to details
- strong team player
- good writing skills
- strong communication skills and telephone etiquette
- competent in Microsoft Office & CRM
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in using and being familiar with the Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR)
- Non-registrable Doctor or equivalent
- Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board or equivalent
- Bilingual with knowledge of various dialects or foreign language
- Familiar with basic medical terminology
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work alternate Saturdays
