Senior Treasury Analyst

Job Summary
Manage Gallagher's investment programme by researching and directing excess cash placement, overseeing monthly investment performance reporting, and maintaining global investments within the Kyriba treasury management system. Execute foreign currency trades using Bloomberg while coordinating pre- and post-trade activities, and prepare divisional cash forecasts in partnership with local finance teams. Monitor intercompany loan portfolios and lead cross-border settlements, providing ad hoc reports to senior leaders on investment performance, forecasts, and portfolio composition. This hybrid role supports global initiatives to drive organisational success within a global leader in insurance and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in treasury, banking, or finance
- Strong understanding of capital markets, including treasury, short-term secured funding markets, and money market funds
- Proficiency in cash forecasting and sound cash management principles
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines and communicate findings effectively
Desired Qualifications
- VBA
- Exposure to AI applications and prompts
- CFA, CAIA, or FRM designation (or working towards one)
