Job Summary
Senior Travel Counselor responsible for advising and arranging travel for corporate clients, conducting analysis on travel options, and booking domestic and international travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations. Utilize GDS systems (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus) and ensure compliance with travel policies and regulatory requirements. Provide proactive service, handle special requests, coach and mentor teammates to raise service levels, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture. Location-based in Bangalore, India with a remote work modality emphasized for the role.
Required Qualifications
- Native GDS expertise (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus and/or Galileo)
- Professional communication (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)
- Resolving customer issues quickly and independently / with supplier
- Teamwork and openness to feedback
