Senior Transportation Engineer

Job Summary
Prepare Access and Circulation Studies, Transportation Impact Studies, and Transportation Master Plans while developing traffic survey data reports. Use SYNCHRO, Sidra, and HCS to assess intersection operation and develop improvement measures, supporting strategic and micro-simulation transport models including VISUM and VISSIM. Deliver presentations to Clients and Approving Authorities, undertaking checks and reviews to ensure comprehensive and accurate work applying sound engineering principles. Mentor junior staff members, respond to requests for proposals covering technical approach and financials, and develop master plans for new cities and towns using CUBE & STEAM tools. Manage continuous development and support colleagues within the Infrastructure team in Amman, Jordan.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Civil Engineering or equivalent
- more than 10 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience as part of a multidisciplinary team providing transportation advice and solutions on large scale developments
- Experience with ITC in Abu Dhabi, RTA in Dubai, MoTC in Qatar and other GCC regional municipalities
- Proficiency in software such as CUBE/STEAM/VISUM/VISSIM, Synchro, Sidra, HCS, CAD, Auto-turn
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
