Job Summary
Operates passenger vehicles providing riders door to door transportation to medical appointments, senior centers, grocery stores and other personal appointments. Often loads and off-loads walking aids (canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and packages. Communicates with Dispatch Office using an electronic tablet for navigation and to track pickup/drop-off locations. Performs vehicle inspections and cleaning before/after shifts; handles fueling; monitors vehicle condition and reports issues. Maintains required licenses, certifications and training. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent desirable
- Minimum three (3) years driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with no more than two (2) points
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass drug and alcohol tests
- Pass physical exam per Ohio requirements
- Must be able to work 8 hour shifts on both full and part time schedules
