Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Transportation Design Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects, manage complex roadway and highway design for state and local agencies, and mentor design staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or Civil Engineering Technology (BSCET) from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in transportation design
- Strong understanding of transportation design standards including AASHTO, MUTCD, and NCDOT guidelines
- Proven engineering analysis and sound judgment in technical decision-making
- Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in MicroStation, Geopak, Corridor Modeling, and OpenRoads
- Familiarity with 3D modeling workflows
- Experience with NCDOT IPD/PD and other project delivery methods
- Experience with survey coordination and data management
