Job Summary
Senior Transmission Project Manager leads complex transmission projects within a matrix team, directing initiation through closure, coordinating stakeholders (internal/external customers, team members, vendors, contractors), supervising up to two employees, and ensuring cost-effective, safe, and timely project execution. Responsibilities include developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, risk management, communications and status updates, planning meetings and outage updates, and mentoring other project managers. PMP is strongly preferred; role emphasizes leadership, stakeholder management, cost control, safety, and continuous improvement across construction and engineering activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field with three (3) years qualified experience or two-year Associate's degree with five (5) years of qualified experience; PMP strongly preferred; demonstrated experience in project management, major construction, project estimating, project controls, project engineering, and PMI PMBOK knowledge areas.
