Senior Transmission Line Project Engineer- Remote

Job Summary
Lead and execute engineering for high-voltage transmission projects up to 765kV, including initial layout, schedule creation, and weekly status meetings with multidisciplinary teams. Coordinate client interactions, manage project workflows, and forecast resource requirements while adhering to QA/QC procedures. Support project managers with scope, budget, and variance analysis, and develop client relationships to secure future work. Demonstrate expertise in PLS-CADD, structure staking, and construction specifications while traveling to field and vendor facilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of relevant post education experience in the transmission engineering field managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Engineer license required (multi-state preferred)
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure
- Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation
- The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
- Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
- Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities, as needed

- POLE and TOWER experience
