Job Summary
Lead design and delivery of high-voltage substation projects from concept to completion; develop design packages including physical arrangement, protective relaying and control, and electrical studies (grounding, insulation, DC systems, battery sizing); prepare design sketches, BOMs, and specifications; apply IEEE/NESC standards; conduct field inspections; manage schedules, budgets, and QA/QC; collaborate with clients and prepare proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program and 7 years of substation project or related experience
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related degree from ABET accredited program and successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and 7 years of substation project or related experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
