Senior Translation Executive

Senior Translation Executive leads a 3-person team of Translation Managers/Executives to translate CRUK-funded academic cancer research from London institutions into investable or licensable opportunities. You will build deep knowledge of the cancer research landscape in the London region, manage relationships with senior oncology researchers and host technology transfer offices (e.g., UCL, KCL, Imperial), oversee due diligence and scientific/commercial evaluation of inventions, propose development opportunities to governance boards, design and deliver strategic initiatives to increase translation, protect and manage IP, and collaborate with BD&T and Legal for routine contract negotiation. The role requires visiting oncology researchers across London research institutions, developing marketing materials with Business Development colleagues, and contributing to project plans with clear milestones and funding. Strong emphasis on IP stewardship, commercialization pathways (licensing, spin-out), and cross-organizational collaboration within a leading cancer charity.
