Senior Transition Manager with German

Job Summary
Manage service transition projects by directing end-to-end delivery from one operating entity to another, including budget oversight, schedule planning, and coordination of status meetings. Lead transition activities until delivery responsibility is handed over to Project Managers and Team Leads, ensuring complete project documentation and quality gates. Collaborate with internal departments and sales teams to design transition solutions, conduct due diligence, and support client orals. Monitor performance, progress, and risks while facilitating knowhow transfer and acting as the primary escalation point for the customer. Requires German and English fluency, 5-10 years of IT transition experience, and proficiency with tools like JIRA and ServiceNow.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/ Finance / Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in IT project and transition management
- Experience in the management and implementation of customer-specific IT projects and applications/systems
- Experience with proven record of managing projects with 100FTE or more
- Digital transition tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, ServiceNow)
- AI/automation awareness related to transition optimization
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills
- Logical and structured approach to problem-solving
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution
- Proven track record of managing mission-critical projects in fast-paced environments
- Organisational Change Management and cultural integration as part of transition responsibilities
- Availability for business trips
- Excellent command of both spoken and written German and English
Desired Qualifications
- ITIL Service Transition, PRINCE2 or PMP certification represents an advantage
