Job Summary
Manage a wide variety of planning studies including transit alignment, mode analyses, PEL, NEPA planning, corridor plans, and active transportation plans while leading client maintenance and business development efforts. Coordinate rural, tribal, and small urban transportation and transit system plans, analyzing transportation, land use, equity, transit, and economic data to provide metrics and planning recommendations. Research and implement innovative best planning practices, communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences, and prepare well-written technical deliverables and visual collateral. Support the Public Engagement team with virtual and in-person stakeholder outreach.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in urban planning, or a closely related field (required)
Desired Qualifications
- master's degree in planning or a similar field (preferred)
- 10+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit – a willingness to see opportunities, take initiative, and solve problems by turning ideas into action
