Job Summary
Manage a wide variety of planning studies including transit alignment analyses, mode studies, PEL/NEPA planning, and corridor plans. Lead and support client maintenance and business development efforts while researching innovative best practices in transit and transportation. Analyze transportation, land use, and economic data to provide metrics and planning recommendations. Communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences by preparing well-written deliverables, charts, and graphics. Support the Public Engagement team with virtual and in-person stakeholder outreach. Collaborate with agency staff, public officials, and internal teams to execute complex projects.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in urban planning, or a closely related field (required)
Desired Qualifications
- master's degree in planning or a similar field (preferred)
- 10+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit – a willingness to see opportunities, take initiative, and solve problems by turning ideas into action
