Job Summary
Manage a wide variety of planning studies including transit alignment, mode analyses, PEL, NEPA planning, corridor plans, and active transportation plans. Lead and support client maintenance and business development efforts while driving transit strategic growth initiatives. Analyze transportation, land use, equity, transit, and economic data to provide metrics and planning recommendations. Research and implement innovative best practices, preparing well-written technical deliverables and communicating complex information to diverse audiences. Support the Public Engagement team with virtual and in-person stakeholder outreach. Collaborate effectively with agency staff, public officials, community stakeholders, and internal teams to execute multimodal transportation planning efforts across the mountain west.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in urban planning, or a closely related field (required)
Desired Qualifications
- master's degree in planning or a similar field (preferred)
- 10+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit – a willingness to see opportunities, take initiative, and solve problems by turning ideas into action
