Senior Transit Planner/ Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage a wide variety of planning studies including transit alignment, mode analyses, PEL/NEPA planning, corridor plans, and active transportation plans while leading client maintenance and business development efforts. Support transit strategic growth initiatives through client engagement and coordinate rural, tribal, and small urban transportation system plans across the mountain west. Analyze transportation, land use, equity, transit, and economic data to provide metrics and planning recommendations, then communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences through written deliverables, oral presentations, and public outreach. Prepare charts, graphics, and visuals for planning documents and collaborate with internal teams to produce collateral.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in urban planning, or a closely related field (required)
Desired Qualifications
- master's degree in planning or a similar field (preferred)
- 10+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit – a willingness to see opportunities, take initiative, and solve problems by turning ideas into action
