Senior Training & Education Specialist, Surgical Robotics

Job Summary
Design, deliver, and coordinate in-house product training programs for field support personnel, new hires, surgeons, and OR staff on Robotic Assisted Surgery technologies. Prepare training materials, develop course content, determine methodology, and create lesson plans using adult-learning methodologies. Maintain communication with customers to ensure training effectiveness and continuously revise programs to keep technical information current with evolving market trends. Partner closely with marketing, business development, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive competitive readiness across the organization. This role is open within Asia RLM and includes non-traditional work hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience
- OR Associate's Degree with 6+ years' experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years' experience
- Experience in Surgical Robotics or Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS), preferably within the medical device industry
- Strong clinical background with understanding of operating room (OR) environments and surgical workflows
- Proven ability to train and educate surgeons, first assistants, OR staff, and field teams
- Experience developing and delivering technical product training programs and educational content
- Skilled in creating training materials, lesson plans, and learning aids using effective adult-learning methodologies
- Experience partnering with Marketing, Commercial, Business Development, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to drive competitive readiness and capability-building initiatives across the organization
- Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, keeping training content current with evolving technologies and market trends
- Willingness to support a regional Asia role, including travel and non-traditional working hours when required
